We all know that houses prices are getting more and more expensive day after day. To help with that issue, an Italian guy named Renato Vidal has come with a very brilliant alternative to the traditional housing we know. The M.A.Di. refers to a flat pack folding home which barely costs $33K and can be assembled by three people in wherever you find a flat location in just 6 hours.

The house in question detains certifications as seismically safe and fabricated with high-quality material. It’s sold in multiple sizes, beginning with a 290-square-foot home for $33K to a 904-square-foot size for $73K. All basic models have a bathroom equipped with sanitary facilities, kitchen facilities, one stage staircase and technical installations.

Once on site, there’s no need for a concrete foundation to assemble M.A.Di. The structures can be put together to go completely off-grid with the addition of solar panels, grey water systems, and LED lighting. “It creates cozy and safe places highly customizable according to your needs,” its creator writes on his website

The only drawback is that you have to wait up 60 days after the acceptance of the final drawings to be delivered.
